On October 8th, 2016 On Fleek Makeup and Wax Studio was presented with the “Newcomer of the Year Award”. This award was presented to us by the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. On Fleek Makeup & Wax Studio was the 51st recipient of this award! We could not have received this award without the help and support from all of you. Thank you everyone that nominated us for this award and thank you everyone that voted!

According to the Windsor Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center:
“The Newcomer of the Year Award is awarded to a new Windsor firm that is an example of a successful startup. To be eligible you have to be a Chamber Member, a new business, a positive face in the community, and must have achieved a breakthrough into the public consciousness during the eligibility period.
In order to be eligible for the New Comer of the Year Award the firm must also be nominated by fellow community members and Chamber Members. The award has been around for 51 years. On Fleek being the 51^st recipient. Recipients are awarded based on a community vote and awards are given out at Windsor Chamber’s Annual Business Success Awards Ceremony. The winner receives community acknowledgements and has ‘bragging rights’.”
